From 19th to 23rd June 2017 the Practical Training for academic and administrative staff from Latin America (WP3) was carried out at Universidade do Porto (Portugal).
Within the scope of the Poncho Project (Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education), Universidade do Porto hosted from 19th to 23rd of June the physical component of the PONCHO training programme for some of the Latin American project Partners.
The main topics covered were:
- Internationalisation Strategies in the context of HE
- Organisation of International Offices
- Communication and Dissemination strategies
- Project Management and EU funding opportunities for partner Countries
The one week training Programme was targeted at 5 staff members from the International Office of 5 different Higher Education Institutions from Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia and Paraguay.
This was also the opportunity for the PONCHO participants to network among each other and with Universidade do Porto staff from the International Relations Office and other departments such as communication and public relations.
