Founded in 1956, the Universidad Nacional del Sur www.uns.edu.ar is a public university located in Bahía Blanca, 700 km South of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the oldest university in the Patagonia region. Teaching and research activities are organized into sixteen Departments, that offer 52 high-quality first degree careers and 42 postgraduate programs. Today, the UNS has about 22,000 students and 2,500 faculty members and it is proudly approaching an internationalization stage.
